Whats up guys? I know that its better to use glue over putty for coral, but is it better to use glue or putty when it come to dry rock ?! Please help me out!

Great question with all the new builds going on.
I've used for many years Epo Putty.
You can use it under water and out of the water for racks and corals.
Just not possible for soft corals as I use the Super reef glue for that.

For rockscaping, nothing beats this stuff. It's absolutely amazing. I just used it and couldn't be happier.

Did you have any problems with it bonding to wet rock? I am looking for a product that will allow me to sculpt however am unsure if just removing a rock; throwing some putty on it and putting it back in the tank doesn't seem too safe/secure.
All the products I've came across seem to lack in some aspect. Just unsure if I am stuck with an ugly aquascape or can fix it.

I used it when my tank was dry, so I can't speak from experience. However, the concept is that it gets pliable when it's hot and solidifies when it's cool. There is no adhesive property to it, just shape. That's why you need to use a good glob and smash it up into the rock. 70-80 degree tank water is plenty cool, so it should work fine wet. I'm going to use it on another area of my aquascape tonight or tomorrow night that is now wet. I 100% expect it to work just as well.

you could use putty and super glue with wet or dry rock. jam the putty in a crevice or whatever, take it out the glob super glue in there and then stick the putty back into the crevice.......i did all my rock scaping dry with that method and all my rocks are solid as can be
