What is the best glue to place large corals on live rock

Most use a combination of glues and epoxy to mount frags, any cyanoacetate (crazy glue) you like in a kneaded two-part epoxy, like DD will work just fine.

Crazy glue gel works best IMO. I don't like the look of the two part epoxies.

...true some use way too much epoxy!

If you use glue and epoxy, apply it like this: Frag - glue- epoxy- glue- rock.

I find, unless it is a big piece of coral/rock, that supper glue alone is enough.
