Hope I like the scape long term. Glued it all together today. Really need to start a build thread.

Mixed feelings on the process of gluing the rock together.

What did you glue with? Super Glue,,, epoxy,,, something else? (Just curious)
Superglue and put what I am going to use as the substrate on top of it to try and hide the “glossy” glue.

Superglue breaks down over time is my only concern. Two part epoxy is generally what is used. You could still add this to make it more sturdy and avoid any landslides later.

I bought 3 tubes of Instant Ocean HoldFast epoxy (link below) for an in-tank reassemble project but haven't used it yet, just because it's a little cheaper than J-B WaterWeld right now. (Saw other R2R members mention using it).

Since you have dry rock out of the tank right now, you could look into more secure methods.
Personally, I'd think about drilling and inserting rods, plus use 2-part epoxy, if you come up with a scape you really like.
I'm sure there are other, possibly better methods, though.

I am just glad it fell apart when I was setting it in the box and not over the tank.

I was taking it out so I could rinse it off and clean the sand out of the tank. Should have rinsed it before putting it together.
Looking closely at the rocks, the actual rocks broke in most cases not the glue joints.
