Glueing frag on setosa

I've seen where folks place acro frags directly on top of encrusting montipora. Can I do the same with setosa without it killing the entire coral? Tia

I can not say for sure, that would be an experiment that your going to have to risk I would try it by fraging small pieces of both corals, if it works you can name your own coral.

I did that to mine. Just make sure the acro wins against the setosa and you're fine.

I woke up my fish for you guys! [emoji6]

I put it right on top of the back portion of the colony. The acro stung and killed it back and continues to keep it at bay.

No problem. I'm not sure if every acro wins against it but this one did.
