So I know there is a way to do this. I obtain a nice frag with a nice coral. I decide where in the DT it should go. It will not stay unless attached in some way. For example, if I have an encrusting coral that I want to start encrusting to the back wall, how would I affix the flat part of the back of the frag directly to the glass?

What product is used to attach a frag to a rock directly into the DT, obviously would need to be applied and then cure all while submerged.

Thank you for all your help fellow reefers.

I agree with the superglue gel and 2 part epoxy. Put glue on the bottom of the plug, then a small ball of two part epoxy, then more glue. Stick it to the rock and it should stay. You basically make a glue-epoxy-glue sandwhich between the plug and the rock.
I use dollar store superglue gel and for the epoxy putty I use JB Waterweld that I usually get from Walmart.

The Loctite Superglue Gel Control, silver bottle with blue squeeze sides, is my go-to in the tank. I’ve bought so much I think my local store looks at me funny now. Really handy especially for those accidental frags.

I thought it would be this easy, but I glued my green slimer down the other day and he’s turning white and it’s creeping up further each day. It seems like it may have stopped creeping now, but I’ll let everyone know as it progresses. Anyone know what I did wrong? The glue is underneath I didn’t get it on the face where it’s turning white. It’s almost like it’s poisoning it from the bottom :(

I have another thread going about it, but no luck in solving the issue or understanding what I did wrong.

If you want to attach a frag to the wall get a magnetic frag plug and eventually the coral will encrust on the glass.
