I’m ready to start glueing my frags. I was going to cut them at the base with my dremel / hand cutters. But for some reason I‘m hesitate that I will screw my tank up. Like a lot of reefers, I keep questioning location of certain corals. Any advice?????

Good luck! Even with superglue, you can still get them off. So it’s not a forever commitment. Even if something bad happens, the coral will grow back.

I usually use side cutters/fragging scissors, or a woodworking chisel and a hammer to get the frag off the plug.

Gorilla gel super glue works great, and if you have an uneven surface you can do a sandwich with epoxy putty and superglue to fill the gap.

Just don’t stress too much and have fun, it will be okay :)

I use a very little bit of glue on the remains of the plug base (with the stalk part removed) and put it on the rock where I think I want it. I use just enough to keep it on place but not enough that it’ll be hard to pry off. If after a couple weeks I notice a problem (or hate it) it’s easy to pop off and relocate.
If I like it, I use putty to help it stay.
