One of the mushrooms I got on a rock popped off, and the little bugger wont stop floating all around. Everytime I try to sit it down in a pile of rubble, the crabs walk all over it, and make it move again. I heard you can glue them back to the rock? How do you go about this, and also is this glue safe? Its the only thing I have in my house, dont wanna run out to the store just for glue. https://www.scotchbrand.com/3M/en_U...ngle-Use/?N=4335+3294529207+3294603505&rt=rud

A net/mesh over a piece of tupperware with a rubberband will keep it from moving around put some rubble inside for it to attach too. Glue will not work as it just slimes up and releases.

The previous two posters gave advice which has the best success rate. I got lucky once by placing a loose mushroom into a rock crevice in a low-flow area where it wouldn't pop out and it eventually latched onto that rock.

A glass cup tall enough where the water flow wont whip up or disturb the shroom. Put some sand in it and rock rubble. Should stick in due time.

OK cool, thanks for the replys! What about glue on a GSP mat? one side of mines mat gets blow up every now and then when the wave hits, It dosent seem to bother them, I just wanted to glue it down, or will it attach on its own?

Better to glue the GSP mat. New growth wont lay down where old growth is. Only new growth will attach to substrate so gluing the old mat is better

I don't use glue for either. Just so happens I am doing both right now. Loose rubber band to attach gsp to a rock. You can see a yellow rubber band if you look close. For the mushroom, I use a clear plastic fruit punch type cup and rubble. I place it in area where it's barely visible and low flow.
