Hey guys!

Purchased my first corals a couple weeks ago for my 30 gallon and put the frag plugs in the rocks where there was a hole. Unfortunately we have had issues with hermits, snails, etc that are knocking them over ticking them off. I am hesitant to glue them down because at some point we are going to have to move the tank to redo the floors in that room and with my rocks being glued together I cant just pull the rocks out. Am I over thinking this or will they be easy to pull off the rocks if I glue them and need to remove them?

They come off pretty easily. If you use the putty, they are a little more difficult.

Thanks guys! Is it best to add glue underwater or add the glue above water?

Apply the glue above the water. Put on some glue, when it touches water there will form a little 'film' over the glue. Then you can place the frag by putting it in place. Twist the base of the plug al little over the rock to break the film and you should be good :)
