Gluing loose polyps straight to frag?

Just picked up some soul glow zoas. They were in a bag with a bigger colony of others. When i got home i looked in the bag and the souls have come off the plug and the rubble. So i have 2 polyps together and 1 lone polyp with no rock or rubble. My question is putting a drop of super glue gel ok to put directly on a polyp? Actual glue to polyp. I have done this before on cheap zoas and it has melted them. I was curious if other people out there have success with gluing polyps or another method that you use.

I guess thats the trick. I have had success before on a couple, but def melted some that seemed to get a little to much gel on them. That glue can be a little tricky sometimes

I've also noticed to much glue caused some not to open and melt but this is what I do will all my poylps iI often try to cut under to get some rock with it so I don't have to glue the poylp itself

I always feel better with a little rubble underneath. I was just nervous putting glue to polyp on a zoa i would like to have succeed. Thanks for all the replies. Boosts the confidence.

Lol yeah I always see poylps floating so I have to glue them down to a plug.

The only negative to glueing the zoa then attaching it is that you have more time touching the polyp. You never know how much pressure you are putting on that polyp.

I put a drop on old coral skeleton then tried to lean the polyp against my finger then lower down on gel. As i seen the polyp hit the gel i held it like so for a few seconds. Putting no pressure down on the zoa.Then dribbled some tank water where the gel and polyp met. Waited a few more seconds then put zoa in low flow area. Everything looks straight.

You can always let the zoa attach itself by putting small rocks under and wait a day if you have a section of the tank with very low flow. I use tweezers to grab the zoas and put little glue on the plug.

I put my floaters in a small salsa type cup with rubble rock and poke holes in the cup for flow and let them naturally reattach
