My first attempts at gluing pvc together. Not bad. Some lessons learned.

But first, does anyone have a good method of cleaning up pipes and fittings?

Just looks a bit messy, I wish I could clean the excess off. Alcohol? Primer from pvc glue? Acetone? Any other suggestions?

Thank you!

What I have also found after many gluing applications, apply the glue to the female end of the joint, then push your pipe into the joint giving it a twist. Then immediately wipe up any spill from around the joint with a clean cloth.

Keeps your joints looking professional.

I would touch it up with a red, black and grey Sharpie marker.
