Hi,

I got some gmks months ago and they were open and growing for a while. Went from 2 to 4 heads before this happened.

Theyve been closed and have a brown slime on them. It looks like they are encased in it or shedding? See pics attached, I was cleaning them gently with a cotton swab and did a revive dip yesterday. Just found tons of copepods and an asterina.
Is it low lighting ? My other zoa's have been reaching up on my frag rack too, but these guys , I dunno. Seems like something else. Can I save them?

The white with slime is cotton swab in pic, and gmk on top shelf of rack

Likely a bacterial/protozan issue. They look like they're toast. If you want to try and save them a 10-12 min dip in Metroplex with some lugol's is your best bet and both products are readily available at most lfs for ~$8/14. But, the outlook is pretty poor.

Seems like they didn't like my sps tank. Nitrates at 1. Can't think of another reason. Tang ended up eating it an hour after I posted the pics.
There were tons of copepods on the tile too. Looks like the tang wanted the zoos or algae.
I hope my next Krak doesn't up end up the same way, only zoa I've had that melted.
