Was sold 1 of these a while back and now there are 4. Never really looked closely but these were supposed to by GMK, however when I look closely at other GMKs, I don’t have nearly as wide an orange center area, but the colors look about the same. If not GMK what are they?

thanks,
Dale

They look like GMK to me. The pattern can morph a bit depending on light, nutrients, etc.

Here is my GMK when I got it, then again after being in my tank for 4 weeks. Same polyp.

I started out with 1 and had no growth for like 6 months, and then all of a sudden in month 7, i have 4.

There’s several morphs, essentially the same as the strain from Rudy, that trade as gmks. At this point it’s pretty difficult to trace the lineage back to the OG ones with any high degree of confidence. The distinguishing characteristic of those where the ‘chaining’ pattern of black and orange/red radiating from the center. As we all know zoas morph and present differently over time. I’d feel comfortable calling those gmks so long as you’re not claiming lineage to the OG strain.

These are both GMK, One is from golden basket which apparently are a little different.
