Hi guys. Anyone able to shed any light on why my torch tentacles are all gnarly? It seems really healthy and the color is great. I have had it in the tank for a year and can't remember the last time the tentacles were straight.

Mine looks like that when they are not fully inflated. Flow, light, ph or alk can cause them to look a bit deflated i would first think flow then light since you said been that way for awhile.

Thanks mate. My clowns have sort of adopted it so I'm wondering if their constant brushing is keeping it from opening fully.

Agree with the above post. That was an important piece of information. Clowns hosting a euphyllia will make them unhappy. It may also cause serious damage to the coral.
