HI,
I recently purchased a Goal Zero Lithium 400 Yeti “solar generator,” intending to use it as an extended backup to keep my MP10 running in case of power outage. I was planning to plug the MP10 into the AC Inverter, but now I’m wondering if I could splice a Goal Zero 6mm connector to the backup cable that works with Ecotech’s proprietary backup battery and just plug directly into the 6mm plug. Advantage would be that it would function exactly the same as the Ecotech battery, without having to unplug the AC from the wall and plug it into the inverter, plus save the additional power draw that running an inverter uses. Since the MP10 driver is already equipped for DC, could this work?
Thanks!
