I have a yellow watchman goby as well as a yellow, a black & a green gobies. The watchman doesn't do much substrate sifting and I was going to get a sleeper goby to add since they sift much more. Any thoughts on their compatibility? I have a 92 gal corner bowfront reef tank. I also have plans to add a mandarin.

thanks in advance,
Scott

My understanding is generally yuo don't want that many gobies in one tank because of agressiveness against one another. But, I will say, that there are always those circumstances where things go better than expected. My own personal advice is do what you want in your tank as a responsible hobbiest and watch what your reef is doing/telling you. Just know that the choices you make in your reef could cause you to lose money or face problems in the future. An example is adding a dwarf angel to a reef tank, you can take a chance of it being a happy member of your reef tank or eating all your coral for a midnight snack. lol

Ive thought about doing the same. I have a 72 bf with a yellow watchman but he's only sifting right around his home. We've thought about a Diamond Goby or Dragon Goby to help sift the substrate.
