How many are keeping more than 1 gobie I would like to add a couple of sand sifting but I have a big pink spot not sure how he’ d react. I saw some posts with people saying they had 1 of this and 2 of them I always thought it was 1 per tank

The "1 fish of a species/tank" rule is overdone. You have to put in more work in order to get a pair (male/female) that aren't going to beat on each other like same sex pairs might do in a tank.

Pink spot gobies (Cryptocentrus leptocephalus) are more of a shrimp goby than a sand sifting goby, so should be able to coexist with Valenciennea gobies (the sand sifting type). Just make sure you buy either a pre-established pair, or a very large fish and a very small fish in order to maximize chances of getting a pair.
