Hey everyone, hope everyone is staying safe. My girlfriends tank is have been up and running for a little while, and she got a blue spotted jawfish (which she currently has a love hate relationship with) but she wants a tiger pistol and goby combo. The tank is an Aquatop 40 and this will probably be her last fish that she adds to the tank. I am worried about aggression as right now the jawfish is the most aggressive tank in her tank, the pair of clowns dont bother anyone other than each other (which is almost never), a Royal Gramma Basslet, and Bicolor blenny. The jawfish chases away the blenny for the corner that jawfish took.

Do you think it is safe to add a goby, and if so what one to go with, or she should avoid the goby and maybe add a wrasse (was thinking maybe a flasher but open to options)?

Thanks all

I have a red banded golby with a jaw fish I have a 45 gallon display but lots of rock so they stay away from each other

I know it's late, but whatever fish you get add to the opposite side of the tank as the blue spotted jawfish. I have an IM NUVO 30 Long, and I always add new fish as far from my Jawfish's burrow as possible,

I think right now we are not going to be adding any more fish to her tank, added some inverts and a few pieces of corals, she is already talking about going larger. Also, her one clown is a mean one
