I bought a Randall's goby and a red-banded pistol shrimp about two weeks ago. They acclimated well, but the goby is homed on the far right of my tank, and the shrimp happily making caves on the other. My tank is only a 65, 36" long. What to do to help them find each other without too much stress? Can I get another goby or pistol shrimp?

Give it some more time. The Goby may be waiting for an invite from the shrimp, who may not yet be ready for him. Only when the shrimp is ready will he them allow the fish to enter his dwelling

Took my pair several weeks to find each other but they are no inseperable. Just beware, they have done a number on my frags that i start on the sandbed. They move anything that is the way of where they want to dig!
