So I have a turbinaria frag in my tank and it had been doing great. I added a yellow clown goby a couple of weeks ago and things were fine. A few days ago all the polyps on the turbinaria retracted and didn't come back out. I tested my water parameters and they were all normal so I was confused as to why this might be. Yesterday I noticed that the goby has been using the turbinaria as a perch. It seems to be his favorite spot to sit. So my question is... Should I do anything about this? I want the coral to remain healthy and grow, which i imagine it won't if it's polyps are retracted all the time. Should I move the frag to a new location or will it by fine if I leave it.

He will most likely follow wherever you move it. They naturally live among coral and do munch on it....although i cant remember if it was breeding or food purposes. I would rehome the goby.

Agreed. I recently had to rehome mine because he kept nipping my LPS and harassing my acans. They've been much more happy and extended since he's gone.
