Hello all, I have a quick question I was hoping you could help me with. I have had a yellow watchmen goby and pistol shrimp for about a year and a half. I recently moved them into a 215 gallon tank and also purchased three bar gobies which seem extremely friendly but a little curious.
I saw the yellow watchman goby for two days afterwards But haven’t seen it out yet the last three days. I have two questions. One, my understanding is that bar gobies these are very friendly and not aggressive. But they may want to get in on the action with the pistol shrimp? I want to note that I haven’t seen the pistol shrimp either, but I usually only get home about a half hour before the lights go down and it is already dark blue on my Kessils (10%).
Do you think it’s possible that the bar gobies attacked the yellow watchmen? They seemed very curious the first day but not aggressive.
My other question is would it be a smart idea to buy a second pistol shrimp that way they each have their own? (Assuming the yellow guy didn’t die ?
