Goby friendship

So I recently purchased 3 different gobies. A yellow watchman, a diamond, and a fierfish. I thought my firefish may have gone carpet surfing since I hadn't seen him in a couple days, but then he popped out of the diamond gobies burrow! I guess they are "bubbies" now. kind of cute, but is it normal? I was just glad to see him, and my lid is fairy close, si it would have been hard, but not impossible. He still hides, but I know he is there in the burrow.

It's not super common, but this sort of thing does happen occasionally. Sometimes the fish stay bonded and other times they don't. It's neat when it happens though!
