Another his jaw is orange with white spots as well if that helps.

It appears to be in the genus Cryptocentrus, but after scouring the genus I couldn't find any clear matches. May be a really faded individual of C. cryptocentrus (ninebar prawn goby), possibly C. lutheri (Luther's prawn goby). Is this a pic right after he was added to the tank? He looks stressed. Regardless he's definitely a shrimp goby so getting him a large pistol shrimp would be good.

About a year ago I acquired a second Watchman goby. It was given to me as an anthia. When I received it it was white or gray and I thought it was a different type of goby. I posted about it and was told it was a large female which can be white. So a year later my small bright yellow male has...

thanks for all the reply’s. Found this on fishbase.com. Looks like this one and may not have the reddish orange colors because of stress. Or as someone else said a female yellow watchman. She is in there with a maroon gold nugget. Had someone bring the fish in to me they were getting rid of tank. What do you guys think?

Ok moved her to another tank can see her better. Definitely looks like the female watchman in the thread above. Has the same white lines and tank body. Only this one has a dark orange/ red gill-under jaw area. Never seen that before.

I'm thinking not C. cinctus. Maybe C. pavoninoides? C. lutheri is a good guess too.
