Goby/Pistol nowhere to be found

I placed a High Finned Goby and Pistol Shrimp in my tank yesterday and have not seen them since should I be concerned? Only a 20 gal tank so I think I would see them. Maybe burrowed behind live rock?

It's not unusual for them to hide, especially right after adding to a new environment. Just leave them be and let them do their thing. They'll eventually show themselves again.

Yea is normal. My watchman goby doesn't even eat don't know how hes still alive. Im guessing copepods.

Sometimes they will make a burrow behind the rocks and you never see them. That’s the only issue with the goby shrimp pairs- you can’t exactly choose where they live. If only they always buried where you could see them. Lol.

I added a pair of oyster crest goby's and a pistol to my tank over a year ago. One goby went MIA the day I added and I was down to one goby with the pistol... One year and one month later I saw this so they can absolutely hide mine did for a year.
