Goby pistol shrimp pair

I was wondering if anyone had a goby pistol shrimp pair. Do they create a sand storm? I am thinking about ordering a pair.

No sandstorm from mine. But they like to take pieces that are on the send bed into their caves. I had my parents watching my tank for a week and I didn't tell them to watch for the pair and I ended up losing 4 pieces. Mushrooms and zoas are their favs.

I had one of each, they never paired but the shrimp will move a lot of sand around. Anything on the sand bed is sure to get covered.

I have a pistol and yasha pair. Never had a problem. Don't see them much though.

3yrs for me! Tangaroa goby/Randall's Pistol..Sadly the Tangaroa passed just last week Never a sand storm, always a joy to watch!! Have fun!!

Saltwater High Fin Goby | Reefs2go.com I got them already paired up from a local fish store, Worlds Under Water( I believe the guy I bought them from joined the group the other day). Never had a problem with them and they made thier home right where you can watch them
