I currently have a 60 cube. In the past 3-4 weeks I have attempted to add two gobies to the system. The first was a yasha goby and the second was an orange spotted goby. Everytime I add them to my display they swim around for a few minutes and then disappear under a rock. Once they are hidden I never see them again. These two gobies are the only two fish I have had issues with. All other are fat, healthy and happy.

Suggestions on what I might be doing wrong with gobies?

the orange spotted is a watchman and will burrow under the rocks. Those guys may have a burrow that will lead to the front of the tank or the back. Over time you will see it in the front but it won't leave the safety of the burrow for long periods of time. You can pair it up with a pistol shrimp

Both gobies you mentioned can be very illusive. I have a Yasha that is only seen from time to time and lives under one of my rocks. The entrance to its den, is on the back side of the rock work. Just recently it has been coming out more. It has been in there almost 6 months now.

you may have issues both of those gobies occupy the same part of the tank. The orange spotted watchman gets rather large and is territorial. I'm not sure about the other one. Never had it.

I have heard they Yasha can hide for long times, but didnt think the orange would. I keep a close eye out for both once the lights go off with no luck. But like you said if they can hide for 6 months it has only been 4 weeks.

Yea. The Yasha is my first choice and if it turns out that both have survived I would rehome the orange spotted if needed.
