No, no difference. They just look different. Think about them as a designer clownfish but mandarinfish edition 
. For a dwarf seahorse tank, Dartfish are good, pipefish, gobies, cardinals, dragonets, basslets, grammas, basically any slowfish that doesnt hog food, isnt aggressive. and isnt very big (with the exception for a pipefish)
