Hey reef family, I’m looking to purchase a calcium reactor, current tanks a 90 gallon soon to be SPS dominant tank. In the next year how ever, I will be upgrading to a 300-450 gallon tank (depending on the house we buy) .
Also, is the carbon doser regulator really worth the extra $200 over a different one?
I had a precision marine CalRX and a American pinpoint regulator previously, with 0 issues, so wondering it I’d benefit a carbon doser as well.

I like the Carbon Doser box, but the regulator is junk. I also have no issues with other regulators that you see out there.

Any decent sized CaRx can handle a large tank if you tune it correctly. They can also do 90g.

There is a link in my signature with a collection of my CaRx thoughts and posts about brands, methods, regulators, etc. if you want to check it out...

I would check to see which pump is the most reliable and has the parts really available for needed matience , and which is cheapest for the parts.

also check out green leaf aquariums regulators.

Yes, but they do not use Pan World or Eheim.

I was going to place an order today for a CR612, maybe will hold for a little to see if I can get an used one around.

Any update on the calcium rx?? I’m thinking of getting a cr612?
