Need some helpful tips on doing a bare bottom reef my current setup is 72x30x20 ruffly 190 gallons and I'm thinking of going bare bottom to a certain extent I want to cover the floor of the tank with frag tiles or disks and place gsb on them or different kinds of ZOA's on them but I need help with what type of sump should I go with if anyone has any ideas they ate truly welcomed

On my 180 I have a 40breeder sump because it was only 40 bucks and I threw in 2 baffles..

I'm BB and made sure I had ample flow and alternate flow throughout the day. I matched my return with my skimmer and set it so my sump works as a settling tank. I only siphon from my sump (which is in basement). Barebottom has been much more convenient and once corraline algae starts growing on the bottom it looks good IMO.
