Going bigger, Recycling a tank?

I'm thinking of getting a bigger tank. My question is do I need to cycle the new tank? As of now my tank is a 75 gallon mixed reef with liverock, that's been running for 2 years now. Would it be as simple as just switching everything over and adding more water valume?

Every time I move a tank, I always rinse out my Sand. I always keep The live rock wet and I’ve never had a major cycle. You may get a small cycle, but I would wait a few weeks before adding anything new.

I am not an expert but as long as you move all your rock over I would think it would be ok you might go into a mini cycle just due to water volume if you added more rock but I think it would balance pretty quick.

I should say, I have a bare bottom tank.
