I'm going away for a week and the last time I did so I had a tank crash and damaged wood floors due to auto topoff issues, so Im pretty paranoid this time.

Questions
Should I use my auto fish feeder? (Im most concerned about my 6 anthias and a hungry moorish idol and their supposed fast metabolisms)
Can a neighbor just toss in unrinsed frozen mysis cubes?
My 7 gal ATO bucket is too small to last 8 days. Should I hook it up to the 40 gal Brute? Im afraid of a siphoning issue causing another flood and salinity crash
Would the Apex restart everything normally if the power somehow cut off while I'm away?

My setup: 150 gal with live rock & biopellets, large skimmer, phosban reactor, heater in sump, Apex controller (but not monitoring remotely yet). All been running for about 3 months

THANKS for the advice!

I would use the auto feeder for a feeding a day and have some one come for the other or you can do all auto feeder. I would use the 40 gallon brute but only put maybe what you think you use in the amount of time you will be gone.

Use the auto feeder, check your ato and make sure everything is functioning properly and that you have plenty of ato water.
