That’s cheaper then price preban. Never seen one for less then 130. You sure it’s a potters.

35+ years and having one in my tank- Potters. Pricing depends on who the wholesaler is for LFS. When I owned my pet store, I had a few local wholesalers, so got my livestock fairly cheap

Also just worth noting is Biota said they will have these available captive bred soon. Not sure price.

Pre-ban and pre COVID here they were like $75 local.

No, in my area preban I saw one store sell them for $60

Those prices are pretty good, same with where I live. I see regals for $115, and even $90. Swallowtails were $35 as of yesterday

You do know that fish are still coming from Hawaii right? It wasn’t an instant shut down people who had permits were and still are collecting until the permit runs out.

Right on the gov website it says all those permits are invalid.

I see yellow Tangs now and again but those can be found elsewhere. There has been some caught trying to export illegally...

I would be interested to see but since the government website says otherwise. I am not sure I would believe it. I have yet to see any truly hawaii fish for sale anywhere except re-sales from those getting out of the hobby and left overs.

I can’t find the article I read but I am almost positive it stated there were a handful of permits (2-3) left they were letting run out end of 2021 I believe. Maybe I was mistaken.
