I just pulled the trigger and order my Nikon 105mm Macro lens.

I so excited so finally have a lens that has pro glass quality...

I really expect it to alleviate all the frustrations Ive had with lesser quality glass.

Stay tuned Thursday, and ill be sure to post some pics with as soon as it arrives.

Great choice Junior. Its a great lens not only for the tank, but does really well for portraits as well.

Congratulations! That's one pricey 100mm macro. Can't wait to see what you produce with it.

Junior, do you have a link to the lens?
All I can find are the consumer lenses for $800
I was wanting to read a review on the lens you are getting

That is AWESOME!!! I am glad you were able to make it through the swap, and get the cash!

I am sure there will be TONS of pictures, as if you didn't take a lot already right?

I'm going to be staging corals all day tomorrow in anticipation for its arrival.=)

I'm really looking forward to a sealed magnesium lens ~vs~ the plastic body of the Tamron 90mm.

really looking forward to the internal focusing. No more worrying that I'm going to dip the lens in the tank while focusing on a top down.

Oh, and something else im really excited about. Every time i would write "Tamron" in a thread, and run spell check, it want to change it to "tampon", so that will be nice to not have to worry about too.

I made it 2 years and never slipped and posted that, but a few time it was close.
