Battle Corals that is. I picked up a few final corals for the year for the high energy reef. And one smooth skin acro that doesn’t fit the theme at all but I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Adam at BattleCorals truly deserves every single one of the many glowing reviews he has on R2R. The coral looks fantastic and were all generously sized and well encrusted. He accommodated the tight shipping window I requested and was quick to respond. AND he has the absolute coolest specimen bags for shipping! That was icing on the cake. @Battlecorals

I would really love a 1 month update on how everything acclimated. Shipping overnight this time of year is ideal for SPS. I found of few of this company's corals tough to acclimate whereas WWC is almost 100 percent making it for me.

Always hoping for the best. So far I’ve only ever lost one coral immediately after shipping and the company did not hesitate to replace it.

I went this direction with the reef fully knowing that Acropora spathulata can be a difficult species to maintain.

Yep, glad to see another happy buyer, it's truly remarkable how great Adam is. After all, you are buying from someone who truly loves what he does, that energy comes in on his frags, I swear my reboot success had much to do with my 20 pack back in early Feb. Congrats, I love my BC acros!!!

I also got some Spaths from Adam in my last pack, I’m a fan of Mille,Prostrata,Spaths. In my opinion Adam is in class of his own in all aspects, I made a post a few weeks back about my second order from him, which surprisingly was an even better experience than the first. I have not had any issues with his acros acclimating to tank, I did have an issue with a hurricane that in turn caused a couple issues but nothing serious or any major losses.

Adam definitely is awesome. He’s an SPS concierge. He will personally guide you.

Do not be afraid to get them under max lighting immediately if it says high light. And that goes for flow as well. I got 4 frags and a Raindrops on Roses frag for a grow out competition and put them straight away 10” under a 400w metal halide and they have started growing in just 4 weeks:

Looks good. Hope they all make it

I saw great video on Coral Euphoria channel about stress reactions on SPS. It was discussing delayed stress reaction in SPS being one week to 3 months and beyond the comprehension of most reef keepers for cause and effect.

Shipping in November for SPS is generally great time. Shipping in August can cause heat stress. Heat stress is rather quick to show where as other stresses show up later and hobbyist is left confused. That is why I change little to nothing for better success. So once acclimated and a few months are behind order, it is all on me not to screw it up (generally).

I like battle corals, reef bum, and WWC as my only online sources. All are great with a bit of luck. My trick I found is FedEx Saturday delivery is better now, atleast in my area. I get corals packed at 5pm by 9am next day. It is likely a slower local economy but it is what it is..

Abe from coral euphoria is my go to for acro frags! Bigger, better packed, and healthier long term as well than anyone out there online.
