Golby/shrimp pair, sand/rubble question

Not sure what section this should be posed in.

i have a 26g rs nano. I currently have Bahama oolite sand in it and want to get a goby/shrimp pair. I know this sand isn’t ideal for it but would it work if I added rubble to the tank for them to use?

You can but oolite is a great sand. If you add a little rubble I'm sure they would use it.

Should be fine! They would love you forever if you also put a bunch of empty shells in there, any shape or size! I mixed it into my sand when I set up my tank and add some more here and there! Any cave entrance they have an assortment of shells to keep them happy.
