I have noticed my gold ocstapawn coral has had brown strings coming out of it ... it had not opened for three weeks and has not opened fully :( I am afraid it has brown jelly but I have not seen it spread around it ? I don’t want it to spread to my other corals as everything there is very mature colonies of hammers and torches ...
anyone could tell me what it could be ? Maybe stressed or is it actually brown jelly ?

Sorrry for the really bad quality of picture I’ll try take a better one today

I had a hammer with brown jelly. It came on pretty quickly but st first I couldn’t tell because it sat under the heads. I took it out of the tank into a bucket to lightly squirt water into it and when I did the brown jelly came out pretty easily so I was able to tell what it was

I saw today early that it expelled it I will try to take out of ad it is glued with epoxy

Mine did. Once it got it, it was done pretty quickly. I had a frogspawn that barely opened for a couple weeks and looked pretty similar to that picture. I moved it to a different spot and it opened up a lot bigger and has been happy since.

I just moved it there two days ago and well yeah it is looking better
