Gold nugget maroon clown fish transition issue?

We have a female gold nugget maroon clown fish paired with a gold stripe maroon male. We've been waiting for her to turn yellow and in December she was white with black on the bottom (she was fully white before) and now she is pretty much black..... we're not sure why or what could of happened???

I've attached photos of the pair in December and a picture of her right now. Also they've laid eggs today.

Anybody any ideas?
