So yesterday i purchased a gold spotted rabbitfish was abit of a impluse buy other than its size im little worried how it fair with my corals anybody had one got any tips i have read if its well fed shud be ok? Mainly sps and a few lps

as long as he stays well fed he shouldn't nip at any corals. However there is still a chance that he on occasion might nip at lps or soft corals.

thanks for the reply. Not got many lps or softies so shud be ok seems quite happing grazing at the moment il ramp up his food so he doenst get hungry and bored

They are a delightful fish, super peaceful, one of the best algae eaters around. Most are reef safe, but a small percentage "go rogue" with corals. Feeding frequently can help hedge your bets.

Mine ate gorgonians and zoas. Was safe with everything else, but I don’t keep brains/acans etc because I have angelfish.

Beautiful fish but I had to get rid of it after about 2 years as I outgrew my 180g.

I have a maze and alot of zoas tbf he seems quite relaxed grazing algae but we shall see! Mine is very brown still. Im under no illusion that he will be kept forever as he is gonna get big unfortunately
