Yeah I bet. The overcharge in my state is pretty wild. I saw a RBTA the other day in a store in Manhattan, $150 per anemone. Couldn’t believe my eyesIf he indicated it was a gold torch then it's probably a gold torch. I'm not astute enough to differentiate between an Aussie or Indo gold torch - only that it looks like a gold torch and isn't say a dragon soul torch.
Assuming it survives long enough for you to frag it, the frags will be worth less than what a comparable LFS sells them for (as is generally the case for private sales).
That's not necessarily unrealistic, depending on the size. I paid $350CAD (about $275USD) fora nice Colorado Sunburst anemone, and the last RBTA I purchased I got for $150CAD (about $120USD). I'm also waaaay out in the middle of nowhere in the prairiea.Yeah I bet. The overcharge in my state is pretty wild. I saw a RBTA the other day in a store in Manhattan, $150 per anemone. For my state that is very unrealistic, if you drive about 10 minutes north you can find the same type of anemone for about $70-80 tops. I guess their rent prices have to be factored in somehow. That's not necessarily unrealistic, depending on the size. in my state you pay $10-35 for RBTAs. More for the fancy varieties. unless you buy from a LFS.For my state that is very unrealistic, if you drive about 10 minutes north you can find the same type of anemone for about $70-80 tops. I guess their rent prices have to be factored in somehow.
