Unfortunately my new gold torch was very unhappy and ended up performing polyp bailout
I can see many of the polyps flying around the tank and some of them have found permanent resting spots
Is there hope? I’ve heard that some people find new heads of euphilias that have had polyp bailout weeks after
Is there anything I can do for the polyps? I’ve glued 2 of them to rubble rocks and placed in low flow areas

hi, is colony gone? pics?

In my previous tank I had some bailout issues. I have a torch skeleton in my current tank that was multiple heads. I ended up just leaving it and there are 3 tiny baby heads sprouting from the dead skeleton. Not from the heads where the polyps once were but from between the branches. So tiny they were first realized as a speck of color but now are at the point I can see tiny polyps. May want to leave some skeletons lying around to see what may pop up. I've heard that this can happen but now that I have witnessed it I may not be so quick to toss a skeleton

take it out...:(bummer...
I have a small piece of flesh from the torch that settled under the skeleton
I’m hoping that it attaches to a piece of sant (i have large grains) so I’m opposed to taking it out since it’s protecting the baby from flow
Is there any negatives to keeping a dead skeleton in the tank?

no,just watch for BJD... ;)

Brown jelly disease in lps ,google pics, can affect other lps in tank if forms.

Sorry to hear but IMO the polyps probably won’t make it. I had a frogspawn do this. I saved the polyp and it lived in a cup of rubble in the tank for almost 2 weeks but eventually melted away.

Sorry pressed by mistake. Having few beers in garden.but bjd = brown jelly dieseses
