The more variety you can provide the fish the better. This can be dry food, frozen food, fresh seafood from the supermarket or live foods such as black worms or brine shrimp. Your just going to have to see what sticks. GL.

Agree with above, a varied diet is always best. Golden angels can be particularly shy so if he isn't eating maybe providing clam on the half shell in a quiet corner of the tank.

Live brine and live Blackworms are your best bet to get anything eating. Hikari and ocean nutrition also make frozen angel formulas.

As everyone else stated, they are extremely reclusive. Mine has been in my tank for about a month and just now he/she comes out into the open to be seen. I don't know about yours, but mine likes to eat my coral :-( Other than that, they will eventually eat pretty much everything (Mysis, flake, etc.)

Mine loved fleshy LPS. 
Had one for 6+ months (( pink skunk clown pair chased it into their S. haddoni )), and never once saw it eat prepared foods, but it was eating something, as it gained weight. IMO/E, lots of mature live rock goes a long way towards their success.

Mine is exactly the same way....loves all the fleshy LPS. I have had to remove my tracky, Acans, Elegance, Chalice, etc. Doesn't touch any of the hammers, torches, zoas, etc.

Right..Golden pygmy angel. Mine eats almost anything.

I have had a couple of these. Mine were very secretive . But ate readily. Frozen brine right away. Then hid most of the rest of the time. If they are not eating at all , I would suspect bullying??
In nature they eat mostly algae. If there is live rock in tank , they will find critters to eat.

Sorry.....I didn't know they went by Golden Pygmy angel also...I assumed it was a different species.
