I bought this golden galaxy frag 5 days ago and it was beautiful at the LFS and fully open. The sweepers do not seem to want to fully extend. As you can see they are coming out a little bit . My water parameters are good is there anything I can do to help coax it to fully extend or does it just take some more time?

Galaxea are pretty hardy, and deadly to any neighboring corals. How did you acclimate it? What are you water perimeters and lighting.

I brought it up to temperature in the bag that it came in. I did a coral dip using my tank water and the dip for a few minutes as directed. My parameters are all good.
Am 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrates 0
Sal 1.024
Phosphates 0 or close to it
Mag 1340
Kalk 350. No sps
PH 8.3
Dkh 10.6
Lighting dual T5 stock lighting for Red Sea Max

You did not get the coral use to your water? I do a 2-3 hour acclaiming dip. If your alk is greatly different than the stores alk or ph it may be a shock. Is kalk calcium? If so a bit low should be 420-460. But that is not the issue. That is a coral longer term effect. Even lps need calcium to grow. Soft corals not as much since they have no skeleton. Your alk is on high end of normal if lfs was lets say 8.2 that is a shock to coral.

Galaxea are hardy it may need awhile to adjust.

No I did not ask you make the coral I thought that was only for fish oh well it's starting to come around more and more each day I'll know for the future Thanks
