Just got my Golden Midas Blenny from divers den and it has large amount of dark areas. Question is does the fish eventually turn that nice golden yellow or no?

Even had this dark pattern on the pics in divers den, just curious if a certain type or if they all get that nice golden coloration?

He'll turn around. He evidently doesn't handle his stress too well.... or he handles it like the rest, but just wears his emotions on his sleeve a little more, if you will.

I've never known them to not get back their regular colors once settled.

I have had two--one the standard gold Midas blenny and my current blue and gold version.

This was the color of my regular one. He was always this color unless he was camouflaged to sleep.

This is my blue and gold guy. (Try to focus on Nightcrawler and ignore the algae. :D )

^ Those are the midas blenny color variants, any other patterning is stress related and will go away as previously mentioned.
