Here is the giant Goldrush frag TCK sent me. It pretty much looks exactly like the pics, it's much more yellow in person as opposed to the green tone in the pics I took. To the right is the ultracake and and then the Arc Fireworks

I'm curious, both pics are shot against a black background yet TCK is bright yellow and yours are green. I don't think that TCK alters pics and you state your is more yellow than green in person so can TCK chime in ON how you get the yellow to come out when you shoot it?

Most likely has to do with camera quality/settings and lighting affecting the white balance. You can set your white balance to a white object in your tank (PVC, sand, etc.) in the camera settings. But altering the white balance after can render a higher quality picture (In-camera effects can sometimes cause some quality loss). This is why it irritates me when some people demonize post editing. IMO, honest sellers who edit their photos will give you a more truthful picture than an unedited photo from a cunning seller. ;)

i'm a terrible tank photographer, i have everything set to auto and i did not alter white balance whatsoever...i also used stock lens, i don't have a macro one...futhermore, the Goldrush was actually even more yellow when i got it then what it is now...after being in my tank for 2 days it's starting to get a green hue which happens to all sps in my tank as they acclimate to my lighting...the Goldrush's tips were never as vibrant yellow as the original pic but that could be due to shipping stress? but I assure you when I first got the frag, the tips were very yellow with no hint of green...now they are yellow with hints of green and i'm sure they will get even more green before they become yellow again
