I recently got a small frag of "Highlighter Goni" and I have it about 3 inches down from some high end indo-torches.

The flow is parallel between the two, so it think it would be unlike they will touch anytime soon if at all. The torch flows to the right of the picture, and when extended the Goni will flow to the left for example.

I guess my main question is if they do touch which one would "win"? I am far more worried about the torches, but if either will die from a "glancing blow" so to speak, I will find a new place for the Goni.

Torches beat almost anything.

Torches have about 8 inch long sweeper tentacles.
I have never seen my gonipora show a defense mechanism against another coral tbh. Im sure they have something that allows them to compete for space, but nothing compared to what a euphylia can do.

+3 torch

Cool thanks! More or less what I thought, but wanted to make sure sense the torches are worth 3k and the Goni is 50 bucks... would be devastating to see the torchs damaged when I am about to frag them.

Thanks again all!
