Goni not fully extended

Hi Goni experts, I’ve got 2 goniopora placed side by side . 1 is extended crazy and the other just showing polyps without stalks.
The red one has been 1 month in the tank the green one about 2 weeks . The red one has been like this since day one .
I have tried feeding Live Phyto every day for 2 weeks now , daily dose of Manganese as well . I feed Reef enhanced once a week and I do notice that it extends more after feeding but it’s back the same the next day .
Both Gonis are in 50 par with low flow .
I have another Bernardpora in 80 par fully extended as well .

Some of the Goniopora’s are short tentacled. I find that they like higher flow and higher nutrients. 50 par may be a little low, I keep mine in the 80-100 range.

I think thats normal, it looks like a short stem goni.

They look normal to me.

I have higher par (around 150) and quite high flow around mine.
I don't specifically feed any coral .

Corals will typically acclimate to light and flow as long as it is not extreme.
Most important thing is to let it settle and see how it goes because Goni's can be fussy.

I'd leave it be and see how happy it is over the next week or so.
If it starts to retract significantly then I'd consider moving it.

Yes, thats it. I have two that extend about 7"-8", 2 more than extend about 3"-4", and 3 that have short extensions like yours. I believe the short stem ones are actually bernardpora, not goni's.

Now that you mention, it does look like a bernardpora. The purple bernardpora I posted in my initial post , I was told by the LFS that it was a Goni, not knowing I placed it next to another red Goni that I had and it stung it so badly it died of brown jelly .
Looking at the polyps it looks similar to the purple bernardpora
