What is a better location for a Goni? on a rock or in the sand? Flow and light are not a concern. I have a place to put it with what it needs. sorry for the snail bomb:expressionless-face:
Thoughts please

Either placement could work if you get light and flow right.

I have 2 Gonis. Both are midway up the rock work. I’d say they’re in moderate light and moderate flow, and both are doing well.

I wanna put it front and center on the sand so in the sand on a plug should work. will it grow out into the sand or just wind itself around the plug?

The sand is a great option. It will keep growing outward. It might be a good idea to have it on a larger disk/ tile so it can be more stable on the sandbed/ prevent it from being knocked over by snails or anything else.

I think I have a something like that. I will do that when I get home. I am "working" now ;):smirking-face:

I just glued mine to bottom glass , I don't have sand hehe.

Pectinia on tile for a similar reason kept falling over.
