So I just received my first goni, one of my first corals actually, planning to have a garden eventually. Anyway, why is one polyp so much longer than the other others? Sweeper tentacle? I thought those were thin and more stringy like a noodle I guess.

Just a longer branch. On my one goni, the tentacles in the center appear to be longer than the ones on the edge, as the edge are usually the newest branches.

Makes sense, I just noticed on the edges are kind of longer too, I can actually see it stretching out lol. Just thought it was strange. I also thought sweeper tentacles more or less came out an night than midday.

Yes, sweepers come out at night (usually). They are usually thin and very long.
I don't believe gonis have them.
