Can anyone help me? my tank is almost a year old. i had an green algae outbreak and worked for about 1 1/2 months to get it back under control. Meanwhile i think my green goniastrea really took a hit from the parameters getting out of control. My numbers are all good now. But its once beautiful green tissue with grey center has turned red except for the base (Dont know if u can see it in the picture). I have the kessil a360x on a 40 gallon aquatop. Maybe my light was too much? Other corals are thriving and bouncing back. Have the light running on acclimation mode to get to

a 60 spectrum 50% intensity. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had a huge green algae attack that i ambouncing back from so i assume my nitrates and phosphate were high. aall back in range now. It’s just this coral as what looks like swollen red tissue.

cal is a little low but not bad,do not bottom out phos,do you have before and current pics, would like to see this better,is it growing or struggling, dying back?

ok. in the pic the bottom is what remains of its green color. the top shows the reddish tissue it changed to. placed it low and off center in tank today. it looks as if its struggling but not quite dead?

No worries. It doesnt extend tentacles at night like it used to. But it does seem to open when i feed brine shrimp. The color was orginally a solid green with grey centers now it kinda looks puffy and red.

sounds to me like gaining true color ;)
