Is this coral ok arrived with skeleton showing on bottom had it for a week. I'm new so don't know if this is normal

As long as it’s in its right placement in the tank it should heal up. Most likely got wounded from shipping, maybe from being shook up in the truck or rubbing against other corals. Hope this is helpful. Not an expert but that’s my opinion.
