So I’ve had this guy for about 4 months at this point.

It was listed as an ultra dragon soul goniastrea. He’s been sitting down there seems to be doing pretty well and I haven’t seen any signs of growth yet. Do goniastrea tend to be slow growers?

I did a direct feeding today for the first time and got a pretty good feeding response.

Very.. Very.... Very... Slow growers. Should pick up soon though. New mouths should start showing up in a month.

Okay, good to know. Though at this point I’m just glad it’s healthy and eating. I just saw a thread somewhere that said that they rarely adapt well to home aquariums

That is true. But if grown in home aquariums. They have a better chance. Mine is over a year old, and never grew for me. Was also not aquaculture.
